Striking button appliquéd vest by Dolce & Gabbana from the 1990s.

Description

Alta moda gold ribbon trim button embellished Dolce & Gabbana vest from the 1990s. This treasure, like several others that will be listed gradually comes direct from a German socialite and fashion collector so has not been on the market prior to this.

The open front cropped design is crafted from black sateen and hand-decorated with all kinds of buttons at the front. It is sleeveless, slightly longer at the front and slips on with no closures. The vest has a good weight to it but once on it balances itself out. It is labeled “Dolce & Gabbana Made in Italy“ and tagged an Italian vintage size 42.

Condition

This vest is in excellent vintage condition. Appears unworn.

As to its open front design there is room if you need a little extra.

Shoulders: 36 cm – 14.2"

Bust: 86 cm – 33.9" (flat across the back and doubled)

Length: 38 cm – 15" (front) / 36 cm – 14.2" (back)
